Founded in the early 1980s by designer Daang Goodman in the East Village, Tripp NYC is a staple in New York City streetwear. Influenced by the creativity of NYC's downtown scene and all genres of music, Daang’s original designs and innovative fabrics have created a channel of expression for everyone from the rebellious teens to rock stars and rap legends. TRIPP NYC is continuously evolving and leading the way in original, avant-garde design with the pursuit of the perfect fit in Daang’s signature bondage pants, unique washes and hardware, and the creation of “Dark Street”, a counterculture take on streetwear.


Customer Care

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

  • • Add an item to your shopping bag by clicking “add to cart” on the product detail page.
  • • When you have finished shopping, click the “view cart” button at the top of the screen.
  • • You will be shown your shopping cart for review.
  • • Click “checkout.”
  • • On the checkout page new customers please enter your billing details, you can then create an account by clicking “create an account” in the middle of the page.
  • • You will be asked to enter a password.
  • • Returning customers click the “login” box and enter your username/email address and password. Click “login”.
  • • Select your shipping method by clicking the appropriate box.
  • • Select method of payment, and click place order.
  • • You will know that your order has gone through when the “thank you” page comes up with your order number. You will also receive an email with your order details. If you do not receive an email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
  • • If you have not receive an email, please double check your spam/junk folder, then contact Customer Service at 201.520.0423 or customerservice@trippnyc.com
  • • Please be advised that once an order is confirmed, you cannot make changes to the order online or by phone.
  • • For orders shipping within the United States where one or more items are not available for shipment the cost of those items will be automatically refunded and any remaining items will be shipped. For orders shipping internationally where one or more items are not available for shipment we will reach out via email and you may select an alternate product if desired, or request a refund; if we do not receive a response we will refund the out of stock item and ship any remaining items.
  • • Once an order is placed, it can not be cancelled. Any requested adjustments can not be guaranteed and will be subject to the processing status. If you would like to return an order once received, you can start a return here.
Orders are processed Monday through Thursday. Your order will be shipped within within ten business days after it is placed, typically between one and three – unless indicated in the product description. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be processed the following Monday. On occasion, an order may be placed on hold. In that event, we will contact you to gather the information we need. If we attempt to contact you and do not receive a response, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
Payment
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and PayPal. If the credit card cannot be verified as belonging to the person placing the order, the order will not be processed.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be charged when applicable.
Coupon Codes
To use a coupon/discount promotion, enter the code in the box titled “coupon code” on the check out page. Click “apply code”. Discount will be applied to order.
  • •Only one code may be used per order.
  • •Certain styles may be excluded from special offers.
  • •Codes may not be applied after an order is processed or to previous orders.
  • •Discounts may be removed if a return or exchange causes the order to no longer meet eligibility requirements

Returns

TRIPP NYC wants you to be completely happy with your order. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, we will gladly accept your return request sent within 7 DAYS after receipt (not including time spent communicating with us) so long as the item(s) are in the original condition with the correct RMA. Merchandise must be returned in original condition and unworn with all packaging and tags attached. Orders returned without original tags and packaging will be subject to a restocking fee. Returns that appear to have been worn and are not in the original condition will not be accepted.
We are not able to provide direct exchanges but you can return for free for store credit to use on a new order for a different size/style.
Please include your return slip in the package with your return.
Sale styles are final sale; no returns or refunds. Each style is marked with eligibility.
  • •All returns must be postmarked within 7 days of receipt, not including time spent communicating with our Returns & Exchanges Department. Returns sent after this time will not be honored.
  • •The merchandise must be in its original unworn condition with all tags and original packaging. Any items that do not meet these requirements are subject to a restocking fee or may not be accepted. Customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs.
  • •Return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount
  • •Free domestic returns if returning for store credit
  • •We do not accept returns on special order items, undergarments/swimwear, or final sale merchandise. These types of sales are final.
  • •Any returns over $350 may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • •We are not responsible for damages occurred during care of an item such as wash/wear.
  • Returns will be processed within 7 business days of receiving back to our facility.
You will be responsible for return freight charges unless you have received damaged or wrong merchandise. If you have received wrong or damaged product, please email our customer care at: customerservice@trippnyc.com within 7 DAYS after receipt and we will respond with the appropriate return instructions. Please do not mail any packages COD – they will not be accepted.
All items that are returned to sender are subject to the original shipping costs and any additional shipping fees, even if the order was eligible for free shipping initially. 

International orders that are returned to sender are subject to any additional duties or taxes in the returned shipment.

International Returns

In the event that the customer refuses delivery of the shipment, the customer is responsible for payment of all return duties and taxes. Shipping fees are not refundable for undeliverable shipments or refused shipments. If the customer would like to return an item for store credit or a refund, they are responsible for the shipping costs to get the item returned to TRIPP NYC. We do not provide return shipping labels for international orders. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Shipping

Orders are processed Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays) during our regular business hours. All orders placed after 12pm EST on Thursday will be processed the following Monday. Orders will be shipped in 1-4 business days after an order is processed. Once an order is placed, it can not be cancelled and adjustments are subject to the processing status. We will email you when the order is shipped. PO Box orders will be delivered using USPS only. Orders of over $350 require a signature on delivery.
US Shipping Rates
All US orders are shipped via USPS or FedEx. The customer has the option to select which delivery carrier they prefer.  Shipping cost is based on weight and location. Delivery time may vary depending on your location. Delivery time does not include Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Expedited 2 day and overnight shipping is available through FedEx at an extra charge but are dependent on shipping location. Shipping time is dependent on the carrier and is subject to carrier delays. We do not guarantee the delivery time. Express orders will be processed and shipped within 2 days if the order is placed before 10:30 AM Eastern Standard Time, Monday – Thursday, excluding major US holidays. There is no shipping of orders on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. US domestic orders over $150 qualify for free ground shipping.

International Shipping
Shipping can be made through USPS or FedEx depending on your location. Please use a valid street address, as we cannot ship to APO boxes. International orders are not guaranteed to ship in the next two business days because additional information may be requested. USPS delivery estimates are estimates only, and cannot be guaranteed. Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery. Any delays at customs once the parcel has reached the destination country are not under TRIPP NYC’s control. You cannot modify an order once it has been placed.
Customs Duties and Other Fees
Please note that international shipping charges do not include taxes or duty. The customer is responsible for all customs, duties, foreign taxes or other fees the importing country may impose. Each order will be accompanied by a customs form that will document what is in the package and provide a dollar value ($) of the package. FedEx may charge an additional fee for prepaying taxes and duties.
Orders returned undelivered and returned to sender
In the case that an order is returned by the mail carrier as undelivered or unclaimed we will contact the customer to offer a reshipment or a refund of the merchandise, excluding the initial shipping fee and any additional shipping fees charged by the carrier. Shipping fees are non-refundable after the shipment has been processed. All additional shipping fees from a returned package will be deducted from any final refund. Orders shipped with complimentary shipping will still be subject to actual shipping cost deduction from any refund.
Additional re-shipment will be charged to the customer.
